Program Overview

Welcome to the 2024 TSP Youth Basketball League! Our league is dedicated to fostering a love for basketball in young players of all ages and skill levels. Through structured gameplay, we aim to develop skills, promote physical fitness, and encourage teamwork and sportsmanship in a fun and supportive environment.

Age Groups and Divisions

- 5U (5 and under: 3 vs 3 games

- 7U (7 and under): 5 vs 5 games

- 9U (9 and under) 5 vs 5 games

- 11U (11 and under): 5 vs 5 games

- 13U (13 and under): 5 vs 5 games

Game Schedule

- 5U: Mondays

- 7U: Tuesdays

- 9U: Wednesdays

- 11U: Thursdays

- 13U: Fridays

Season Details

- Season Duration: Weekday outdoor league games scheduled Monday to Friday.

- Gameplay Type:

- 5U: 7 games, no playoffs

- 7U: 7 games, no playoffs

- 9U: 6 regular season games + playoffs

- 11U: 6 regular season games + playoffs

- 13U: 6 regular season games + playoffs

Gameplay Rules

- 5U and 7U: More relaxed rules to focus on player development.

- 9U, 11U, and 13U: Stricter rules to enhance game understanding and development.

- 1 Head Coach

- 1 Scorekeeper

Game Times

- All games are played in the evenings from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

- Schedules: To be announced (TBA). Schedules will be released one week prior to the season tip-off.

- Note: All schedules, times, and dates are subject to change.

Rosters

- **Size**: Each team will have 6 to 10 players.

- **Requests**:

- Sibling teammates and parent coaches will be honored.

- Teammate and coach requests are limited to 3 per team and are not guaranteed.

Coaches

- Volunteer Coaches Needed: Head Coaches are vital to our league.

- **Responsibilities**: Coaches must stay in contact with parents regarding game times and picture schedules.

Equipment and Hoop Height

- 5U: Size 4 Basketball (25.5 in), 7.5 ft Rim Height

- 7U: Size 4 Basketball (25.5 in), 8 ft Rim Height

- 9U: Size 5 Basketball (27.5 in), 9 ft Rim Height

- 11U: Size 6 Basketball (28.5 in), 10 ft Rim Height

- 13U: Size 7 Basketball (29.5 in), 10 ft Rim Height
