Our Mission:
Helping youth build their confidence, and experience the benefits of participating in team sport activities
Youth Sports for Success:
Better vision. Children who spend time outdoors playing, especially organized sports, are less likely to develop vision problems.
Healthy weight. Obesity is increasing in children, but data show that kids who are more active, especially after school, are more likely to be of normal weight.
Motor skills development. Sports participation helps with coordination and learning new skills.
Social skills development. Playing on a team means learning to work with others and support them.
Self-confidence. Success as a team member and an athlete builds confidence.
Mental Health Prevention. All of the above can play a role in preventing mental health issues.
Sportsmanship. Learning the rules of the game, respect for coaches and referees, and how to stay positive even when losing are all valuable life lessons.
Fun and enjoyment. When we have fun and enjoy ourselves, we feel more confident and positive about our abilities. This can help to boost our self-esteem and make us more resilient in the face of challenges and setbacks. It helps shape how we perceive ourselves and our surroundings in a more optimistic light.
Friendships. In all cultures, friendships are important relationships throughout a person's life span.

Each year we have had the opportunity to provide 200 children in disenfranchised areas of Turlock opportunities to play the sports they love. We are partnering with many organizations and businesses in and around Turlock to create a community to identify these children in need and provide them with an opportunity to enjoy youth sports at no cost to the participants. We are targeting children who come from: low-income neighborhoods, have one or both parents who may be incarcerated or who may be disenfranchised.
