Playing Format

U-4 play 4 v 4 with no goal keeper
U-6 Play 5 v 5 with a goal keeper
U-8 Play 7 v 7 (Build Out Line)
U-10 Play 7 v 7 (Build Out Line)
U-12 + Play 9 v 9

Offside Rule- There is no offside for U-4 to U-8 age groups
Age groups U-10 + play with offside rule

Throw In Rule- Anytime there is an illegal throw in, the referee will allow the same team to retry up to two extra times after the first. A total of 3 tries before the ball is awarded for a throw in to the opposing team.

Goalkeeper Specific- The goalkeeper may not punt, or bounce the ball to kick and clear the ball. The goalkeeper may roll to a teammate, throw to a teammate, or put the ball on the ground and play. The team in possession has up to 3 tries to not infringe this rule, if the rule is infringed after the third attempt, the opposing team is awarded the ball on the build out line for an indirect free kick.

Playing Time
U-4: 15 min halves with 3 min half time
U-6: 20 minute halves with 5 min half time.
U-8 & U-10: 25 minute halves with 5 min half time.
U-12: 30 min halves with 5 min half time.
U-14 +: 35 min halves with 5 min half time.

Uniforms- In the case that there are two opposing teams wearing the same colored uniform, the away team is responsible for changing Jerseys in order for the game to be played.

Substitutions- Substitutions are allowed at any stoppage.



Game Balls-Home team is responsible for providing 3 game balls.

Coaching Staff/ Team Designation- Both team’s players and coaches will be seated on the same side in their own half. Only team players, and up to 2 Coaches are allowed in the area.

Fan’s Designated Area- Parents and spectators will sit directly across from their own team. No one is allowed behind any goal at any time during game play.

League Format- 7 week long season plus playoffs (Semifinal and Championship)

Awards:

1st Place- 1st place trophy for coach, medals for players
2nd Place- 2nd place trophy for coach, medals for players
